nice reminds me of the Slavic tradition of picking the glowing fern, something magickal about the image ;) I also like your observation about my work nice to hear some concrete thoughts :)

during the summer solstice the girls make wreathes and the boys go looking for the "glowing fern" which is suppose to give powers to the finder than the girls throw the wreathes in the water and the boys go diving after them when the wreath is caught it is brought back to the girl owner and the boy gives her the fern and all sorts of things happen from there ;)

I was born in Poland but the tradition seems to be pretty much throughout the Slavic forest areas hahaha Mucha is very cool did you know his name means "Fly" ?

really... amazing how much I still don't know about european culture.

"fly" as in "flying", or as in "small black buzzy animal"? :)

did you see his exhibition in moravsky krumlov - the slav epic? it's one of the most impressive exhibitions I've ever seen.
